The Soulful Home Series August 2025 - Ease + Embers
Design as Ritual. Home as Sanctuary. Life in Season.
August Overview: Designing for Late Summer Ease
Ease + Embers
Designing for Late Summer Ease is a gentle invitation to live more slowly, breathe more deeply, and create spaces — both indoors and out — that honour the in-between. August is neither the high bloom of summer nor the full turn toward fall. It is a threshold: golden, ripe, and quietly reflective.
This month’s Soulful Home guide centres on creating environments that reflect this softened rhythm. Whether it’s through a shaded reading nook, an evening garden ritual, or the simple grace of a candlelit outdoor meal, we’ll explore how design can support late summer’s call to rest, reflect, and receive.
You’ll find ideas for weaving seasonal beauty into your home and garden, prompts to deepen your connection to place and time, and inspiration for cultivating calm as the season gently begins to wane.
This guide is part of the Soulful Home series — a monthly offering of wellness-rooted design rituals, reflections, and gatherings for women 45+ who are aging with intention and shaping homes that heal.
Available as a stand-alone download ($11–$22 CAD) or included in upper-tier memberships (GROW or BLOOM), this offering is yours to revisit all season — to savour, reflect with, and return to whenever you need a deeper breath.
